Best online marketing practices
I received these questions about online marketing methods from some of my clients and i will try to respond.
1. What makes a good website?
Usually a good website is based on the quality of the content. If you keep your site fresh, update your data 3 times a week or daily with usefull info and understand your visitors, you are on the right way.
Don’t think that much on keywords, density, PR.
Think like an customer and the market is yours.
2. Ok, but anyone speacks about this PR, i need it?
The PR was created by the founders of Google to make a diference between websites. This is like an image of your site. It is not so much important in ranking.
3. How can i promote my site? Online and offline.
Promoting Online a website takes a lot of hard work if you have big competition. You must do only 2 things: make quality content and exchange links with other website owners.
Exchanging links will not be so easy at begining because all webmasters are seeking for good placements in pages that are already indexed and with good PR.
This method will increase your link popularity and will have as reasult a good position in search engines, brigning to your site free targeted visitors.
Promoting Offline is the method of word or posting ads on radio, newspapers, flyers, TV, etc. This method is used by medium or big companies who have strong marketing and promotion experience, and money to spend on advertising.
